There is a wonderful online dictionary for Portuguese. It is based in Portugal, so the default will be Continental Portuguese, but it does also have a great cataloguing of vocabulary and slang from Brazil and the PALOP (the African nations that speak Portuguese).
Note: This is a dictionary of Portuguese in Portuguese, so English and Spanish, etc., will avail you not! :)
